It has an installed capacity of over 77 GW, with an additional 29.5 GW under construction, including 9.6 GW of renewable energy. The company aims to reach 60 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2032, reinforcing its commitment to clean energy.
NTPC operates a diverse mix of thermal, hydro, solar, and wind power plants to ensure reliable and affordable electricity for the nation. It is also focusing on adopting best practices and clean energy technologies to support a greener future. Beyond power generation, NTPC has expanded into new sectors such as e-mobility, battery storage, pumped hydro storage, waste-to-energy, nuclear power, and green hydrogen solutions, further strengthening its role in India’s energy transition.
