
Alpex Solar has secured an order worth ₹210.71 crore from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for the supply of advanced solar photovoltaic modules. The renewable energy company will fulfill this order through its manufacturing facility in Greater Noida, which recently expanded to a capacity of 1.2 GW. The project is expected to be completed within nine months from the signing of the purchase order.
The company stated that winning this order from SECI highlights its strong capabilities in solar module manufacturing. This contract will involve the supply of high-efficiency solar PV modules and solar cells, supporting India’s growing renewable energy sector. With the expansion of its manufacturing facility, Alpex Solar aims to enhance production capacity and meet the increasing demand for solar solutions in the country.
Managing Director Ashwani Sehgal expressed his confidence in delivering on the project, stating that being selected by SECI for this significant order reinforces the company’s commitment to advancing solar technology. He added that the company remains dedicated to supporting India’s renewable energy goals and contributing to the transition towards cleaner and more sustainable power sources.
